Aviary

This card is a CASE from the fabulous Kristina Koch, my up, up, upline.  I love using the sweet mix and match Aviary stamp set.  I made this card several different ways, changing it up each time by mixing up the different little cages with the different birds.  The basic black cardstock has been embossed with the elegant bouquet embossing folder to add texture.  The 1-1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon has been cut lengthwise and frayed along the length and the edges to give it a shabby chic look.  The little safety pin is from the vintage trinkets (I love these things!), and the little pearl jewel adds that tiny little extra "something".

This card was one of two super cute cards and matching envelopes that we made at club this month.  Be sure to check out Natasha's and my calendars on our websites, or contact one of us if you'd like information on a club.  Its always a great girls night out!
